I am an Australian Japanese to English translator specializing in computing, with a background in technical support, 3D art/CAD, and programming. Texts that I have translated include marketing for a Chinese car parts maker, mobile games and applications, school theatre scripts, news articles, and manga comics and advertisements for personal use. Additionally, I have contributed Japanese subtitles translated from English to the indie film ‘The “Don’t Be Like Roy” Campaign’.

Additionally, high speeds, broadband internet, and even low latency communication will become essential to utilize cloud computing. However, its outlook is reasonably bright by using 5G, which is the next generation wireless communication technology being aimed for commercial use in 2020. Compared to today’s 4G, its technical specifications being decided for implementation are stated to have a speed of over 10Gbps which is 10x higher, a network capacity of over 1,000x higher, will support over 100x the number of concurrent connections, and have a latency of under 1ms. No doubt, 6G and 7G are also being developed. As such, just like processing on a hand-held device, it is probable that cloud computing will also become able to be utilized without disadvantage.

The train arrives at the station, where the little girl Amo gets off at. Holding a small suitcase in hand, and wearing a teal-colored coat. Amo takes a deep breath, and looks at her surroundings from the platform. Her breath turns white.


The well-developed and futuristic town is vast. From the platform, she takes the escalator to in front of the station’s bus stop, and waits for the bus. The bus arrives, she gets on, and sits onto a one-person seat. Amo gazes outside nostalgically through the window, as the town passes by. She closes her eyes.
